Picturesque
Durbuy, which gained city status in the 14th century, perches on the
banks of the
River Ourthe at the edge of the
Ardennes region in southeast
Belgium. Here, the
cliffs of Sy mark the shift from a farming region to a region of
deciduous (and some
coniferous) forests.
